Inspired by street art, we constructed an entire illustrated typeface to pair with our existing brand typefaces. Our illustrated type should be used intentionally as an extension of the brand. Each character has a unique loop, an effortless extension of our illustration style working together as a family. The font is legible, combining rounded curves and sharp edges to striking a balance with each letter. This font can both be used as the outline and be filled with colors.
Our illustrated type is a display-only font and was designed to work with our brand typeface, Sans Plomb. It can replace a single letter in a word or spell out an entire word to provide emphasis to the message. Maintaining legibility is key. The characters may overlap each other when laid out, so long as the word is visually balanced.
The design team has provided a set of common words laid out in our illustrated typeface available for download and use.
